IF there's any way to initialize a save function in the game, or rip the game file directly to the memory card slot, that would be awesome. I set a file folder as my Dolphin emulator's memory card for slot A but as I'm typing this I have realized that I screwed myself over by choosing not to save the game to a memory card from the beginning, because the save option is greyed out and it just says "You can not save." However, it's come to my attention that after I beat the game, there's some more stuff I can do called trial maps. Netplay is a defining feature of Dolphin: it allows you to set up online sessions for any GameCube or Wii title with a local multiplayer mode, without the problems or limitations of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or hassle of the BBA. I have been using save states for the entirety of the game and I'm happy to say none of my characters have died and I've had no problems saving or loading.
